It's been a while...

Well it sure has been a while since I have posted anything on here. I tried to post a video one day and that didn't work. Another day, I wrote a really long post about our life these days, but didn't have the guts to post it. Not that people don't know what is going on at the Broussard household these days, but writing it for all the world to see made me feel a bit "transparent". Maybe another day it will be easier.

But other than being super busy we are all doing well. My sweet Simon is 10 1/2 months old! He is so energetic, curious, and happy all the time! He is a challenge to keep up with and is always getting into trouble (and, no lie, the second I typed that he was trying to see how far the vacuum hose would reach and pulled the whole thing down on top of him!). He wants to do anything and everything his big brother does, which includes jumping on our new trampoline! He crawls up onto it and bounces or stands and holds the bar and bends his little knees! So cute! The other picture was taken today at an egg hunt we had at the park.

My darling Daniel is almost three! He is still impressing us with his intelligence. He recently learned to count to 100 and loves to play with numbers and create each digit up to 100. He also started getting interested in clocks and likes to tell us what time it is (usually he is no where close to accurate) and counts the numbers in Spanish! He is in school two days a week and his teachers are always impressed with how quickly he learns things. He recently learned to jump and now really enjoys playing on his trampoline as well as in the bounce house (pictured below). It made me smile to see how happy he was to be able to play in one. Today was the first day he actually WANTED to be in a bounce house. And he loved it! The other picture is of his first trip tot he dentist. He didn't get his teeth cleaned that day, but he did tolerate the dentist looking at his teeth and he enjoyed putting on her sunglasses and getting a toothbrush. We will try again soon!
